About me
Besides music, Iʼm into traveling, chess, sports, and getting lost in great books. I believe that every story deserves a unique musical voice — and I love helping bring that voice to life.
Hi! Iʼm Alexandr, a film composer, music producer & musician based in Europe. I create original scores for films, TV, games, and visual media — always with emotion, story, and collaboration at the heart of everything I do.
How it Started
Music was always a big part of my life, but scoring came later. Once I discovered how music could support storytelling on screen, I was hooked
Iʼve been making music since I was six. I started with piano and went through classical training at a local music school — nothing fancy, but it gave me a strong foundation in melody, harmony, and expression. Later,
I picked up a bunch of instruments just out of curiosity and love for sound: guitars (acoustic, electric, bass), clarinet, a bit of drums — even some vocal work.
How it Progressed
In 2025, I was shortlisted in CueTubeʼs international scoring competition for my original score to the film Vesper — selected as one of the top 50 composers worldwide. That moment meant a lot to me, and reminded me why I love doing this.
Since 2020, Iʼve been diving deep into orchestration, composition, and the craft of film scoring. Iʼve studied books, taken online courses, analyzed great scores, and spent hundreds of hours experimenting with sounds and ideas. I'm deeply inspired by the works of classical composers like Tchaikovsky, Debussy, Ravel, and Prokofiev — and by modern legends like Hans Zimmer and Ólafur Arnalds.
Iʼve also learned a ton from amazing educators and composers like Zack Heyde, Ryan Leach, Cheska Navarro, Morgan Fator, Paul Thomson, and Tobi Weiss.
My Studio
Itʼs my creative space where ideas turn into music, and where I bring directorsʼ visions to life through sound.
I compose and produce from a powerful home studio, fully equipped for professional film scoring. I work with top-tier sample libraries, virtual instruments, and real recordings — and my setup is ready for live orchestral instruments when needed.
